Denver is home to the beautiful Denver International Airport, an expansive and streamlined facility completed in 1995. This airport handles more than 30 million visitors a year and is a destination for numerous airlines, including Air Canada, Alaska, American, British Airways, Continental, Delta, Frontier, JetBlue, Lufthansa, Northwest, and United.

NCAR facilities are about 40 miles from DIA, a drive of less than an hour using the newly completed E-470 tollway.
Approach to DIA terminal

A variety of transportation services to and from Denver International Airport are available for all your ground transportation needs. Options include public transit, scheduled door-to-door shuttle van service, charter buses, limousines, rental cars, taxicabs, hotel courtesy shuttles and wheelchair services. When you arrive at Denver International Airport (DIA):

SuperShuttle:
The SuperShuttle goes back and forth between Boulder hotels and Denver International Airport all day. The SuperShuttle will drop you off at any Boulder hotel. For pickup from your hotel and transport to DIA, most locations will require a reservation. The Millennium is one exception; it is a regular stop in both directions. For more information, call 303-227-0000. The SuperShuttle desk is located on Baggage Claim Level 5 in DIA.

Rental Cars:
Rental car agencies are also located on level 5 of DIA.
